Lizard Village & Lizard Point
At Britain's most southerly point can be found Lizard Village, famous for its two life boat stations, lighthouse, café, Anne’s pasty shop and some of the Lizard's most stunning coastal walking which includes the tiny picturesque thatched cottage fishing hamlet of Church Cove.

National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek
Situated in the little village of Gweek on the Helford River the National Seal Rescue Sanctuary is a fascinating place to visit with visitors able to view the rescued pups in the nursery and convalescence seal pools before they are released back to their natural habitat.

RNAS Culdrose, Helston
At the Royal Navy's base on the Lizard Peninsula, RNAS Culdrose, you can visit a dedicated viewing area and café on the west side of the base and guided tours of the site are available during the summer.

The annual international air day takes place July/August every year and aeroplanes from all over the world gather for this very popular Cornwall event.

Marconi Centre and Monument
Owned by the National Trust and located overlooking Poldhu Cove the Marconi Monument and visitor centre marks the spot from which the first transatlantic radio transmission was made successfully by Marconi in 1901.
