The Minack Theatre and Gardens
Known as Cornwall’s theatre under the stars the Minack theatre
is unique and world famous and photographs can never do the Minack
justice, to experience the magic of this special place, you must
visit for yourself.
Built into the side of a cliff overlooking one of the most stunning
beaches and coastlines in Cornwall, The Minack Theatre was the inspiration
and life’s work of one remarkable woman, Rowena Cade who started
building the Minack in 1931.
Open all year The Minack Theatre and coastal rockery sub tropical
gardens are located approximately 45 minutes drive from Mullion
Cove Hotel on the Land’s End Peninsula and a great place to
visit for a relaxing coffee, or light meal while taking in one of
the most spectacular and breathtaking views in all of Cornwall.
In addition The Minack offers a wonderful programme of open air
performances for which we strongly recommend that you book in advance.
