National Maritime Museum – Falmouth

The Cornish people have always had strong connections with the sea and the opening of the new National Maritime Museum on discovery quay, with its new shops and restaurants overlooking the waterfront in the centre of the historic maritime port of Falmouth have been a tremendous landmark development for Cornwall.

Over three floors visitors can explore a fantastic collection of small boats and artifacts, all with fascinating maritime stories associated with them. NMM is open every day except Christmas Day and Boxing Day and can be reached by water taxi/park and ride or direct by car.
