What the papers say
We have attracted some very positive (and unprompted) publicity
down here in South Cornwall this summer. Here are our favourites:
Saturday Telegraph – 18th August 2007
A piece written by Paddy Burt: the Telegraph’s eminent doyenne
of hotel reviewers. We were paid an anonymous visit in July –
the first we knew about it was when we read (hands trembling!) the
article that Saturday morning:
‘Although not overly enamoured with the bedroom décor,
staff proved a big hit – especially Marek: ‘wow –
what charm’…and the pony tailed waitress serve ‘with
a smile’ and the food ‘looks good and, more often than
not, tastes good’ and proves ‘most enjoyable’….Praise
indeed!

Sunday Times – 10th June 2007
Britain’s Favourite View?
An article advocating the delights of spending summer in Britain
– Britain’s Best 50 Days Out.
Mullion Cove Hotel makes an appearance as number 28. The writers
proclaim the hotel rooms boast ‘Staggering sea views’
with ‘vistas northwest as far as St Michael’s Mount
and South as far as Predannack Head.’ However, they do insert
the caveat that the views are sometimes ‘interrupted by the
odd passing Mackerel trawler.’ Britain’s Favourite View?....We
think so.
